This is the meeage i received:

Bette A, I so agree - as, I daresay, do most people - other than Microsoft. However, I do believe we are still getting security updates for our "old" Windows versions.

W10 until October - and then via an annual payment.

I am on W11 21H2, so I think I will continue to get security updates for the moment, but not new version updates.

This PC doesn't currently meet windows 11 system requirements

TPM 2.0 must be supported and enabled on this PC

TPM:TPM 1.2

The processor isn't currently supported for windows 11. Processor: Intel@core i5-6300 U CPU @2.40GHz

Yes, I agree. I now realise that I could bypass the restrictions. However, although I am on Windows 11, it is version 21H2. To get to 24H2 is not simple and I feel I may as well stay on 21H2. If I had a more powerful laptop I daresay I would be able to benefit from the many powerful AI features; both now and in the future. However, until I can afford a new laptop - probably a powerful Windows 12 - I shall carry on as I am.
