I did all of this. The Realtek audio driver does not show up. I downloaded it, and it still says that there is no audio driver connected.
The only advice I can give is what I did - I went to the HP website and asked for help. The assistant did everything for me.
How do you reinstall the Realtek drivers? I downloaded them multiple times. They are in the HP setup and download folders. However, it still says that there is no audio driver installed. I have had this issue over two months. The only thing in my Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers is Microsoft Streaming Service Proxy. I went to the HP website and downloaded the Realtek driver. Nothing. I added Legacy hardware with Realtek and Microsoft. I received an error code, and my computer restarted. I researched over 20 YouTube videos that offered a solution, and I still have no audio drivers after downloading the driver that I am missing. I also had to search YouTube just to find how to update my Windows 11 after the end of the term came and there was no solution at the time of how to fix my updates.
