RealTek Audio drivers after Windows 11 update

Go into device manager and disable your audio card, then enable it again and see if that helps. If not, you can do what I have done and uninstall your audio card, followed by a search for new hardware which will install it again. That should break contact with whatever app may be blocking your audio card.

Any of this worked, but thank you, either way. I really ca'nt see how can I fix this, tried everything already

Please go to your pc manufactorers website, look for audio drivers, download the latest version , even is already installed, reinstall the 'new' version (while some drivers not migratet by the 24H2 update) and reboot the pc. Pls le me know the result, thx.

I tried this, but what happened (and usually happens) is that, after restarting the pc (asus), the audio looks like it is back on, but after 10 seconds, it goes off again, and the problem is back on. I don't know if this is common, but it looks like there's some kind of conflict/ bug, but that only takes place 5/10 seconds after having a new audio driver in.

After a lot of troubleshooting, finally managed to solve the audio issue

I basically updated the firmware/BIOS on MyAsus (my device is an asus), and for now it's working

i went to Device manager scrolled down to find System Devices .

Expanded the menu to find the Intel smart sound

right clicked and did update driver

Clicked on browse my computer

clicked on let me pick from a list

For me 2 options showed and i picked on the oldest one

My computer sound was restored

hopefully this wrks
