I had this same problem and I fixed it installing all the optional updates.
Go to Windows Updates -> Advanced options, then under Additional options, click on Optional updates.

Updating only works if you actually have it on your computer. The problem that the majority of us are facing is that after the update, ALL AUDIO DEVICES DISAPPEARED.
I was with HP help for almost an hour - they wanted me to PAY to get rid of their mistake. My pc is still under warranty. Guess I'll return it.

It is not an HP problem, they will not authorize a return of your system.
