    Probably doesn't help, but the issue solved itself for me in the last couple days, by itself. Can't really say the exact time because I was running with my realtek audio device turned off anyway and just today I tried turning it on to test, and it was working normally.

    I have followed the instructions and still have no sound since the update. Audio device not connected is the common ending to most paths I have been asked to follow.

    Way to go microsoft! No sound, no help, no caring, seems like a trend.
