RealTek Audio drivers after Windows 11 update

As I wrote recently, after weeks of searching in various communities, one has to find out again and again

that the cause of the various errors is the MS update from 23H2 to 24H2.

A return from 24H2 to 23H2 (also the update of various drivers) should not be seen as a final solution.

As in other areas of life, the polluter pays principle should also apply here.

Therefore, MS should be helpful in finding a solution, best in cooperation with the PC/laptop manufacturer (in a quick manner), since Windows 11, version 24H2 was already released on October 2024 (if I am not mistaken).

Please don't insult us with canned answers. Most of the users know how to do them and every audio question has the same answeres. How about telling us what to do when the tool says it can't find a problem so it must be the driver yet the driver is the most current driver available and is the manufacturer's most current release and there is no roll back release?

The problem is the Windows update broke what wasn't broken so how about Microsoft fixing the issue before suggesting solutions that just waste time? Common sense dictates that if everything was working fine for months on end and the OS gets updated and they suddenly don't work, don't point at the Realtek audio driver. Look under your own hood first.

Well, for weeks I get the following error:

BSOD with subsequent restart after Windows 11 update from 23H2 to 24H2.

The cmd 'eventvwr' shows: 

The computer restarted after a fatal error. 

The error code was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff80765e63a8d, 0xfffff18361166f78, 0xfffff18361166760). 

A full dump was saved to: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\122924-17156-01.dmp. Report ID: 40d5f111-4053-4f4f-940b-9a720c8c1023.

The evaluation of the minidumpfile says that the Realtek USB audio driver (version: 6.3.9600.2330) is causing the BSOD!

Therefore, a new version is needed for my Dell XPS 15 9570 with Intel Core i7-8750H ("Coffee Lake").

Is there a newer audio driver version available/released by Dell?

..If yes, please provide the download link or post the the nwer version on the download pages.

..If no, should I use a newer driver version from manufacturer's website Realtek?

-Audio Controller = ALC3266-CG with Waves MaxxAudio Pro

Found in Dell Latitude 7370 Owners Manual - according to Realtek description:

The Laptop comes with integrated Realtek ALC3266–CG Waves MaxxAudio Pro controller.

It is a High Definition audio codec designed for Windows desktop and Laptops.

Found in other community: DO NOT INSTALL REALTEK WEBSITE DRIVER.

Anyway, tried to download (several times) the Driver 'ALC888S-VD' manufacturer's website Realtek, but received file with name:

'not confirmed 65118.crdownload' !??? - never heard that.

Can't do anything with that!
