How can we update these drivers if we don't not have them? They are gone and we cannot download them from the HP website, even though it states that the download is complete. It is, but it does not show in the Device Manager.

yes, you are Right, this thread was created to deal with a problem with REALTEK AUDIO.
But, you cannot see the Realtek driver in Isolation, but as a whole, because the Realtek driver can only work in conjunction with the other drivers, i.e. BIOS/FW or Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology audio controller or Intel Chipset Device Software or or or. Or Windows!
