the computer works fine but still wont update to 24h ...

I have nearly sorted all my files now except iTunes.

Only got small c drive.. but big d drive .

I will take a look in the morning.

I’m a mainly plug and play,and never done a restore point in 20 years….!

If you're still having the same problem, you have some other issue. You can always do the following. It helps sometimes.

1. Type "Restore Point" in the Windows Search Bar. The following window will appear. Make sure that your System drive (normally C drive) is turned on.

Click the "Create..." button to Create a restore point right now for the drives that have system protection turned on. Normally it's just the boot drive. You can utilize that to accomplish a system restore if something goes wrong later on. I like to create Restore Points from time to time in order to restore the system back to an earlier point in time when the system was working fine. It does take awhile for the Restore Point to get created as well as restoring it at a later time. Additional information can be found at: https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-repair-windows-11/

Open the CMD prompt in administrator mode:

2. In the Search box, enter CMD. You should see a list that shows "Best Match" and under that, you'll see "Command Prompt". Right Click on Command Prompt and left click "Run as Adminisrator". Select "Yes" when prompted to allow the Command Prompt to run with Administrator Priviledges.
3. In the "Admininistrator: Command Prompt" window, enter the following (one at a time): Type the following command in the Command Prompt window and hit Enter. C:\Windows\System32> sfc /scannow **** C:\Windows\System32> Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

      ****          \*\* The scanhealth command will check the Windows image for component store issues. 
   
      If any issues are detected, enter the following text and press **Enter** to fix them: 
   

   **** C:\Windows\System32> dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

There are a lot of other things that can be done to help you get your operating system into a working healthy condition. Read over https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-repair-windows-11/ and accomplish these steps. The ones I typed above are from that document.

If you're still having issues, you are more than likely having some hardware issues like your memory sticks might be bad or your hard drive has problems. Have you defragged your drive(s) lately? You can always utilize the Tools found in the Properties for the C Drive. That might help. The error checking and defragging will run after you restart your computer.

The times I've complained about this stupid laptop it's still doing the same thing Freezing, jumping, to another program and getting this circle YouTube. I feel like throwing it at the wall. I've even been out and bought new laptops. And I am still having the same problem
