    which antivirus do you recommend?

    You may try Avast. Or check out the other options here: https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/https://www.av-comparatives.org/tests/real-world-protection-test-july-october-2024/

    the process stops at 30% as well in my case

    It crashed when shrinking the OS volume.

    Buy a new HDD and clone it. You can use Macrium Reflect Trial or a similar program for the task. After cloning, disconnect and discard Disk 0.

    (or)

    Ignore the Windows Security error and install a 3rd party antivirus program. Windows 10 will be supported till October 2025 after which you may consider buying a new Windows 11 PC.

    Share the setup logs.

    • Open the "C:$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources" folder.
    • Select the two folders, "Panther" and "Rollback" (if present).
    • Delete the GenuineTicket.xml file in the Panther folder.
    • Copy the two folders to the desktop and Zip them.
    • Upload the zip file to OneDrive and share the link here.
