So my pc system settings say I'm on windows 11 pro but windows update says "Get the new version of windows to stay up to date Your version of windows has reached the end of service"

Yes, thank you so very much, if I have any problems, will try a new thread. But again, I can't thank you enough for helping...Windows 11 downloaded another update tonight w/no problem, did it on its own as its suppose to, computer restarted and all is good.

Probably by the weekend I will start a new thread for getting the new Outlook for Windows email program to work with my earthlink email account., but thats another story, another time. (windows did away w/their email program the first of the year, and trying to get the new outlook email program to work with earthlink is a pain in the you know where, no rush on that one, get my emails thru webmail now until i get this new program figured out, again, will do a thread on it, the most important thing is, YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO HELPED ME WITH GETTING THE NEW WINDOWS 11 DOWNLOADED correctly, to me, that is worth its weight in Gold)

It is now Sunday evening....

I finally got the chance to do the install.....today was an off day for me so I had the time.....

IT WORKED......HOORAY..

Windows 11 Home 24H2 is downloaded.....it did take almost 2 hrs with all the restarts, etc., but I had the time and let my computer do its thing and it worked..

I can't thank you enough for all your help and patience when nobody else knew what to do.

Do you have any idea why the 23h2 did not install, but WHO CARES...my Windows is now up to date and working just fine.
