Hi All,
I have a Brother DCP-7065DN multi-function machine, connected to my Windows 11 desktop computer. I was having some problems with a label printer and pursuant to that I disinstalled the Brother software and re-installed it. Since the re-install, the Brother printer driver installed but the scanner driver installation failed. I've tried multiple times.
Brother has noted this as a problem with Windows 11 Version 24H2. (See attached link.)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Glad to see someone posted about this. I've been batting my head against the wall for a week with this one. I recently decided to wipe my drive and reinstall Windows from scratch. Can't get cc4 to install properly since.
Hope there's some kind of a fix soon. Would hate to have to wipe again and start from scratch installing it before 24H2.
Brother MFC-9340CDW and Brother DS-940DW having same issues. I have tried everything out in the windows community to no avail, I am not a happy camper. Windows -PLEASE ADDRESS AND FIX.

The method works, thank you. But this is a temporary solution, as there have been a lot of messages in the Windows application log about problems with the scanner (its software cannot register something in the registry, there are failures, Windows locks may be installed).
