Is there something I'm missing and I don't understand? And scanning from device to laptop doesn't work!
Win 11 ver. 24H2 causing Brother scanning driver install to fail. How to fix?
Hi All,
I have a Brother DCP-7065DN multi-function machine, connected to my Windows 11 desktop computer. I was having some problems with a label printer and pursuant to that I disinstalled the Brother software and re-installed it. Since the re-install, the Brother printer driver installed but the scanner driver installation failed. I've tried multiple times.
Brother has noted this as a problem with Windows 11 Version 24H2. (See attached link.)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks.
Nancy

Did you define the action under the event in Scanner and Cameras profile?
Also check installed driver under Device Manager is Brother driver not MS wsd driver.
Finally, I assume you have installed most latest MS updates. Un-installed and Re-installed your Brother MFC driver and software.
Good luck

2025-04-10T17:04:15+00:00 I use ControlCenter4. I don't agree with Brother iPrint. I have installed all MS updates, uninstalled and installed "Brother Full Driver & Software Package" (https://www.brother.co.uk/support/mfcl8690cdw/downloads), scanned the laptop for corrupt files, everything is fine. I can't scan from the device to the laptop.....
My scanner doesn't appear in "Printers & Scanners". Only the printer. Is it the same for you?
