Hi All,
I have a Brother DCP-7065DN multi-function machine, connected to my Windows 11 desktop computer. I was having some problems with a label printer and pursuant to that I disinstalled the Brother software and re-installed it. Since the re-install, the Brother printer driver installed but the scanner driver installation failed. I've tried multiple times.
Brother has noted this as a problem with Windows 11 Version 24H2. (See attached link.)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks.
Nancy

Me too.
I have a Brother DCP-J925DW that no longer scans. Prior to 24H2 , everything was perfect. I was about to go spend over $500 for a new printer but was reluctant cause I can't find another printer that will print on CD's. That being said, I am glad I did not spend any money. Brother Tech Support also advised me that this is a Microsoft issue and a fix needs to be implemented. Please Microsoft, fix Windows 24H2 so that we ALL can return to scanning and printing.
Awesome fix. Thank You

Same problem with Brother MFC-J470DW. With all the people having this problem it would seem Microsoft should upgrade the severity level of the bug. I had an important zoom meet this morning. Half an hour prior to the meeting I received an email saying I had to sign and scan an important document. Well, I couldn't scan it!
MS disregard for its customers!
So is there an ETA for the fix?
