Update KB5050009 not installing.

I have tried to update to 2025-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5050009) but i get the (Install error - 0x80070306)

I have restarted and shut down my computer multiple times to see if that would fix it but it didn't. I've also tried re-installing the update as well.

Please let me know what i can do to.

    Same problem, after restarting I get the message “An error has occurred, the changes will be undone”. Then restart and update not installed.

    I did not try both...just the one x64 for Windows 11. Looks like others are having issues after installing the other x64 option.

    I get failed installation when I install the x64 option. I actually have 3 options...one is arm64 and the other two are 24H2 x64. One x64 is for Microsoft Server Operating System. The other x64 option is for Windows 11. My failed installation occurred on the x64 Windows 11 installation.

    Any other thoughts for how to get this update installed successfully?

    Did you try the 2 x64 based system files?

    I tried both x64 files within the 24H2 x64 Windows 11 one. One file gave me an error, and the other said KB5050009 is already installed. I restarted and it is STILL requiring a restart.
