WIN 11 update failing, showing error 0x800705b4

Today Jan 19, 2025. when I want to check for updates ( with automatic updates button ON position), updates are not installing. It says as under:

There were some problems in installing updates, but we will try again. If you keep this and want to search web or contact support for information this may help: 0x800705b4

Grateful, if some one can help me to resolve this so that I can installed the updates

    It corrected the error and allowed updates. I only see this one in event viewer:

    Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80246007: Hewlett-Packard - USB - 2/10/2017 12:00:00 AM - 44.1.2402.1741.

    I think it's the  HP ENVY 5000 series driver. Can you get it from HP's site?

    Had this issue with error message  0x800705b4 since January 2025. Following this solution, I have a new error, being 0x80080005.

    Looking for the solution on error 0x80080005, it says that I should amongst others delete everything in the folder Windows\SoftwareDistribution. However my labtop doesn't allow me to do so as it says that I do not have the admin rights. This is strange on my own laptop, on which I'm logged in as an administrator.

    Grateful, if some one can help me to resolve this so that I can install the updates as I'm still on Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100.2605.

    Σήμερα 19 Ιανουαρίου 2025. όταν θέλω να ελέγξω για ενημερώσεις (με το κουμπί αυτόματων ενημερώσεων στη θέση ON), οι ενημερώσεις δεν εγκαθίστανται. Λέει ως εξής:

    Υπήρξαν ορισμένα προβλήματα κατά την εγκατάσταση ενημερώσεων, αλλά θα προσπαθήσουμε ξανά. Εάν το διατηρήσετε αυτό και θέλετε να κάνετε αναζήτηση στο web ή να επικοινωνήσετε με την υποστήριξη για πληροφορίες, αυτό μπορεί να σας βοηθήσει: 0x800705b4
