After windows 11 24h2 upgrade printer prints a few pages, the first with error message

I have a Canon MF643cdw printer as a local printer on a Windows 11 pro desktop connected by usb. A few days ago I upgraded the desktop to the Windows 24H2 level. When I now switch on the printer, the printer itself prints 4 pages. On the first page there are a few lines :

POST /ipp-print HTTP-1.1

Connection: keep alive

Content-type: application/ipp

User-agent: Windows internet print provider

Content-Length:626

host:local host"

I already uninstalled and re-installed the printer, unchecked the informative notifications. But no success. Before the upgrade everything worked well, the issue was introduces by the 24h2 upgrade.

What is the solution for this?

    Another bad problem from Microsoft regarding printers, there have been enough of these in recent years.

    Specifically affects USB printers on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

    This is now generating a huge number of support tickets.

    All possible solutions have been tried, but they have not solved the problem.

    The only thing that works is removing the latest Windows update, which eliminated the problem on both operating systems.

    Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.

    This weakens the security of workstations when you cannot proceed with the latest update.

    In our case, this affects thousands of printers.

    Even after the “2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053606)” the problem is not fixed for me!

    I imported your registry setting then restarted the computer, the fix works. The printer has stopped printing garbage for now.
