Hello Bernhard77, I understand that you have the problem on Windows 11. However, I am experiencing it on Windows 10, and it is likely that the issue is caused by a patch.

I have a Canon MF643cdw printer as a local printer on a Windows 11 pro desktop connected by usb. A few days ago I upgraded the desktop to the Windows 24H2 level. When I now switch on the printer, the printer itself prints 4 pages. On the first page there are a few lines :
POST /ipp-print HTTP-1.1
Connection: keep alive
Content-type: application/ipp
User-agent: Windows internet print provider
Content-Length:626
host:local host"
I already uninstalled and re-installed the printer, unchecked the informative notifications. But no success. Before the upgrade everything worked well, the issue was introduces by the 24h2 upgrade.
What is the solution for this?

No, it has to be fixed by Microsoft thru one of its updates. It was a 24H2 issue but with the februari patches it was also introduced on earlier windows releases.
The only thing you can do is trying one of the earlier mentioned solutions (usb to utp adapter or disabling ipp).

Hi,
Same issue here on three Windows 10 PCs with a locally connected OKI B412. The pages with the messages are printed automatically when turning the printer off and on again. It must be related to one of the latest Windows updates. I have already performed a fresh pc installation and tried the latest driver from the manufacturer, but the problem persists.
Any solutions?
Jonny
Due to the lack of wi-fi in my OKI printer this solution is not possible in my case. :-(
Seeing this in our org with multiple printer makes/models, affecting multiple clients on Win10 22H2, Win11 23H2, and Win11 24H2. Only thing that fixes it is uninstalling the latest month's cumulative update.
