That's potentially good news, (for Windows 11, ) I don't suppose they will do it for Windows 10 though as too near support end.......?
After windows 11 24h2 upgrade printer prints a few pages, the first with error message

I have a Canon MF643cdw printer as a local printer on a Windows 11 pro desktop connected by usb. A few days ago I upgraded the desktop to the Windows 24H2 level. When I now switch on the printer, the printer itself prints 4 pages. On the first page there are a few lines :
POST /ipp-print HTTP-1.1
Connection: keep alive
Content-type: application/ipp
User-agent: Windows internet print provider
Content-Length:626
host:local host"
I already uninstalled and re-installed the printer, unchecked the informative notifications. But no success. Before the upgrade everything worked well, the issue was introduces by the 24h2 upgrade.
What is the solution for this?

2025-03-21T07:03:47+00:00 According to MS Support, there should be a patch available by the end of march (hopefully 2025 ;) that fixes the issue on both windows 11 23H2 and 24H2.
Lets hope for that to work "finger crossed"

2025-03-21T06:04:25+00:00 I have the same problem with my Brother printer connected over WiFi. I can print 2 to 6 pages before it just stops.
The same printer has no problems when I use a Windows 10 computer.
