This error will not go away I kid you not. After increasing my recovery partition to 1GB and yet still there, ive already digged into the web deep enough and yet not even working. And no, I don't use bitlocker, just please get this annoyance off.

These 2 updates are the reason holding me back from updating windows properly

You can update the WinREVersion registry value here if it's not already updated.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

Hopefully, WU will no longer offer that update.

    This seagate seatools thing is freezing up my computer everytime i run it like windows just freeze for 1 or 2 minutes why?

    1. Please uninstall all of the above non-Microsoft software.
    2. After uninstalling > repeat using an applicable uninstall tool whenever available

    Some of the log findings:

    a) BSODs

    b) Drive problems

    For all steps / tests > make sure that images or share links are posted into this thread

    Make sure that disk cleanup and third party cleaning software are not used during the troubleshooting.

    1. Create a new restore point:

    1. Run HD Tune (all drives) (run an old version so that it produces results for the whole drive)

    a) Health

    b) Full error scan

    1. Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste: chkdsk /b /v

    Run these chkdsk switches on all drives using the syntax:

    chkdsk /b /v C: or chkdsk /b /v D: or chkdsk /b /v E: etc.

    Make sure that the windows drive runs overnight while sleeping.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /b /v

    The type of the file system is NTFS.

    Cannot lock current drive.

    Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another

    process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be

    checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: y

    Reboot as needed.

    1. After completing all chkdsk /b /v run:

    1. Run HD Sentinel (all drives) > post images or share links (do not run until posting results for each steps 6, 7, 8 and 9)
