My mic keeps on picking up desktop audio

hi guys, built a new pc last november, everything was fine and all and i decided to pick up a mic splitter like a month ago so i can use my earphones' mic to talk to my friends while i game, so like i noticed an issue when using the mic where it picks up my desktop audio for some reason, tried to fix it by updating realtek drivers, didnt work, this same issue happened to my acer nitro 5 a year back and that was fixed with a driver update, idk what the problem is and idk how to fix it tbh, anyone know how to fix it? tried to look around the web and its just the same stuff i tried, updating, reinstalling drivers, i dont even know at this point i genuinely feel like hating realtek drivers at this point because of how this issue even happens randomly

    What is the headphone model and do you have the Realtek console application installed?

    i was using a linsoul kz zs10 pro, i also have the console application installed, im using a ugreen mic splitter to get both mic and audio and to confirm i tried on a different earphone and it did the same issue

    i dont think its a issue with the splitter too because when i was using my laptop at the time that had this happen a year ago it did the same thing, since it just had one port for both mic and audio jack

    fyi i tried on two different earphones and i also have the console application i just mentioned the same thing happening to my laptop but it fixed itself magically idk how

    Hi ,

    Do the following: update the bios, use DDU to remove the Realtek sound driver and install this version. After installing, access the Realtek console, go to the advanced controls tab, take a screenshot and post it here.

    You will do the following: uninstall the Realtek Sound driver and use DDU.

    DDU:

    https://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/games/PC/guru3d/ddu/[Guru3D.com]-DDU.zip

    Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely delete and reinstall the Sound driver.

    1. After downloading, extract ddu to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select Model tab, put Sound.

    After uninstalling the Sound Driver, uninstall it for Realtek

    1. Click on the First option clean and reboot and wait for the process to finish.
    2. After running DDU and following the procedure:

    i did all of that and the issue is still there. i can still hear my desktop audio when i play music or play games when i use my mic
