Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

I have no patience for background services going haywire. should have been discovered before the update release. removed as much of it as possible from registry and system 32 folder

So far there's unfortunately no solution known, just disabling News and Interests as a workaround :(

Has installing of the last preview update helped someone please?

+1 for this issue. Woke this morning to poor keyboard responsiveness using Chrome. Went to task manager and noticed feeds/search taking 99% of memory and 5% cpu. I did not take a screenshot, just killed it. Ran a defender scan that did not reveal any threats.
