Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

    I have the same issue as well and i have a ryzen 9 3900x cpu with 32gb coirsair ram gigabyte 3070ti and samsung ssd 1tb and 1tb standard hdd

    i have to leave windows task manager open cause windows search app is becoming a right royal pain for some reason it just decides to eat all my ram and then pc freezes so now when i see my ram get halfway i kill the search process but after so long it starts doing the same thing again and eats all my ram i had to force reset the computer because it became totally unresponsive because of this issue

    Someone did an analysis earlier in this thread and thought it was a memory leak.

    However, I cannot vouch for the validity of the analysis.

    Someone in MS will have to have a look to know the truth of it.

    It happened after i restarted my drivers, (CTRL + SHIFT + WIN + B) It took a whopping amount of 2GB ram and i dont think its a virus because i bootscanned and full scanned my computer twice also removing every single one of my exclusions. Does anyone know what is going on?

    Could you guys do some research please?

    Download process explorer ( Process Explorer - Windows Sysinternals | Microsoft Docs). Run procexp64.exe as Administrator. Filter for searchapp, dblclick the greediest one, switch to Threads tab, sort by CPU descending and drop prinscreen here. E.G.:

    (unfortunately mine doesn't misbehave so i cannot help directly)
