Feeds / Search application using all of the ram

I noticed that the PC started running slow today and opened task manager to see that System, Feeds (Search application) is using CPU and Disk quite heavily and as much ram that it can to pin it to 100%.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Update: Windows crashed and i restarted, same application started to ramp up again so i ended it.

Looking into events now.

    This just happened to me. Just made my whole computer run at an incredibly slow pace. Took me over 5 minutes to even get the task manager up to see what was happening. As soon as I killed Feeds, it went back to normal.

    It happened while I was using Microsoft Teams for a class, and I had OBS open with the virtual cam on.

    Hi all,

    I experienced this problem today as well. I too am running masterCAM like the OP. I am also using two monitors. I noticed many users experiencing this are using graphic intensive, professional software as well, which seems to be the only thing in common.
    I noticed the feeds process wating up all of my RAM when I started masterCAM, and opened a file. I received an "out of memory" error message and masterCAM crashed and my second monitor became disabled. I then ended the feeds process via the task manager, but it didn't improve and the animation during window maximization chugged. I disabled the news and events in the task bar, and restarted which seems to have stabilized things so far.

    Just happened here, while browsing YouTube in Chrome and suddenly nothing worked anymore. Went to the Task Manager to see Feeds eating 12GB of RAM for no reason and it was still rising when I killed it. I have this PC for almost 5 years now and it's the first time I've ever seen it get significantly slower.

    Specs:
    Windows 10 Pro
    Intel Core i7-7700

    16GB RAM

    128GB SSD + 1TB HD
    Nvidia GTX 1070 (standard drivers installed)

    Until Microsoft updates the software there is nothing else to do. Don't backtalk me with that nonsense.

    Adding another "me too" here. Despite not hitting the CPU hard in task manager it was making the machine nearly too hot to touch and fan at 100%. Maybe the thermals was just due to the all writing to the swap space
