Lenovo Integrated Camera Not Working with Windows 11

hey just saying, my camera isn't appearing on device manager, not even as imaging device, i think the laptop had been water damaged to a degree, only the rear usb one of them doesn't work and the camera, but the camera's micrpohone works perfectly fine tho

You don't need to download a driver.

Go to "Device administrator", look for the camera, right click and click Properties, in the tab Controller click on "Revert to previuos controller".

I sent my PC for extended warranty claim with the retailer Incredible Connection in South Africa, they advised they replaced a camera but amazingly they also removed a lot of my apps and other software, which at first, I realized MS Edge works better with this laptop, but a laptop should ideally work with all browsers in the market without issues as clients prefer different browsers. They deleted Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and other personal software. laptop originally worked for a month, I attended 1 interview, second interview 15 minutes camera started the same issue again. This happened after automated software updates. looks like there are known compatibility issues here based on many comments i have seen elsewhere. The store has asked me to book the laptop for the second time, but just in the meantime, i bought a Webcam from the same retailer. Amazingly i have an older laptop that used windows 7 generation. That laptop still works just that its slower as i later installed windows 10, but all hardware including camera no issues for many years, this newer generation Lenovo i7 SSD technology only worked for 2 years considering the price this is not fair.
