Windows 11 Wi-Fi Adapter Disappeared

Hi, fellow Windows users.
My wifi is problematic and it started happening since I updated to Windows 11. I've seen people with similar problems in the forums here and even on other websites but after trying (almost) all of their suggested solutions, I still can't solve the problem here. I've tried these solutions, but to no avail: winsock reset, network reset, unchecking "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" in the driver properties, turning all the network settings to default, and all the troubleshooting options available. I would try to be as specific as I could in explaining my problems here.
It happens in a few particular situations, but I can't seem to find what these situations have in common. When playing games like Genshin Impact (online games), Hades (offline games), Overcooked (offline mode), or just being AFK long enough from my laptop, my wifi would disconnect, and then when I try to reconnect it, it would say "Can't connect to this network" while the wifi is actually fine on other devices. And if I'm lucky, I could just use the network troubleshoot and the problem is solved but only temporarily, and it would eventually happen again. And if I'm unlucky, my wifi button would disappear completely and in the Device Manager, my wifi adapter would be "hidden". Then I have to restart my laptop, and if I'm lucky, one restart would fix it, sometimes it takes 3 restarts, but other times the wifi adapter would be completely gone and I have to use "Startup Repairs" from my BIOS menu to fix this (which was a very random solution, but it was one of the myriads of solutions I've looked up, and it actually helped). But weirdly enough, this doesn't happen when I'm playing Minecraft (online games) and Overcooked (online mode).
This was never a problem for me when I'm using Windows 10, but according to what I've read in the forums, many people seemed to have had this problem even when they were using Windows 10. So, I don't know if it's a Windows 11 problem, or my wifi adapter. One thing for sure is I know this is not a problem with my connection, but rather it's my network adapter. So if anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.
PS. One thing I haven't successfully done is reinstalling the wifi network adapter, since I couldn't find a proper driver for the installation anywhere on the internet. After uninstalling the network adapter, I've actually downloaded a driver for the installation, but it doesn't help at all. My adapter isn't showing in the Device Manager, and I had to use the "Startup Repairs" from my BIOS menu to actually reinstall my wifi network adapter. My laptop is ASUS TUF A15, running on AMD Ryzen 7 4800H. The network adapter is Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC. Thank you so much.

Ended up getting him a new computer, and when he brought the laptop back to the main office (a several-hour drive), it never disappeared after that. So, as you suggested, perhaps a bad physical connection inside the computer. Annoying! Thanks for the follow-up info!

I had the same issue. My laptop's ethernet adapter just disappeared. I tried everything even contacted the vendor's support without any luck. I decided to purchase a USB network adapter an it worked great for 2 days. On the 3rd day it also disappeared. So, that confirmed that it wasn't a hardware issue. I did what you mentioned and worked like a charm. After the reboot Windows 11 installed some updates and both network adapters were now recognized by Windows 11 again. This is annoying but at least I know now that Windows 11 causes this to happen. Will investigate further if this is Windows fast boot related.

2022-09-19T16:52:15+00:00 We have also tried every suggestion listed here, and none seem to get rid of the problem permanently for us. Only for several hours or a day or so. As per your question, I have no desire to switch to a different operating system (win10 vs. win11) to fix a problem like this.
What I CAN tell you is we bought FOUR (4) of the exact same model laptop at the same time, from the same place. The other 3 do NOT have this issue at all, so I'm taking it to be a hardware issue on this one laptop. I'm getting it back from the remote employee, giving them another new computer (different model, because this issue is too much of a hassle to deal with remotely) and I'll tinker with this one myself. I'm guessing I'll have to get HP involved since it appears to be a hardware issue.
But, just to reiterate, we have THREE other laptops, exact same model, Win11, wi-fi card, etc., and they have NO issues at all.

2022-09-12T18:26:01+00:00 I have a user that has much the same problem. The wi-fi adapter, and any reference to it keeps disappearing on a random basis every couple days. We even bought him a USB Wi-Fi dongle to use instead, and IT even keeps completely disappearing every couple days, indicating it's not a problem with the hardware card itself.
This is EXTREMELY frustrating. We have no issue getting the items to work again after a restart or BIOS refresh, but they keep disappearing a day or so later. Maddening!
We'll try the long power button press. I'm sure it will work to get it back the first time, but hopefully it won't keep disappearing after that. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!
