How to adjust Bass and Treble in Windows 11? I look all over and find nothing.

Thanks for the string of how to adjust the sound. What a pain in the butt. Why didn't they leave it so you could adjust it quickly without opening up something extra. I have deferred downloading Windows 11 until the other day and find it frustrating. This sound issue being taken away and for some reason they took away the ability to GROUP in the START menu. This is NOT simpler.

Same here. MS needs to listen to their users. The added interruptions constantly asking me for monetary contributions to this or to that are super annoying. This OS just keeps getting worse and worse. Three clicks or more to do what i used to do with one or two. Sub menu of sub menu to simply copy paste etc. Brutal.
There is a specific technical reason why the EQ went "missing".
It has been like this for over 10 years such as Fireberd figured out why his realtek hd audio manager in Windows 7 back in 2012 didn't have the 10 band EQ. It was because his gigabyte motherboard came with creative soundblaster app that had the 10 band EQ.
If they give you 2 separate EQ (not 2 different GUI pointing to the same EQ), then 99% of the time you will accidentally enable both and ruin your sound. So the "technical fix" is to delete 1 of them.

SouthBay_EssEff gave the absolute incorrect advice. His computer is an HP computer which means that his computer either comes with HP audio app or B&O audio app --- which is where his EQ resides.
We have another bunch of people that have hearing problems (and probably seniors) who couldn't figure out that stuff moved around and relying on computer advice from 10-15 years ago to look for where stuff is supposed to be. Stuff gets moved around from GUI stand point. Deal with it.
Then there is a bunch of people "fixed" their EQ problem by finding their Dell computer comes with Waves MaxxAudio Pro app which has the 10 band EQ. But they couldn't figure out why. The reason is super simple, Dell deleted the 1st EQ on purpose so that you couldn't accidentally turn both on at the same time and ruin your sound.

No one in this forum has answered more hearing aids questions than me. That's how I help people with hearing problems, not some audiophile non-sense.
Well by "fine" I meant it was functional. It worked fine.
Again, I'd like to encourage people to pick their equalizer and try a few if it's important. Some people, for instance, have Tinnitus or ringing in the ears. Being able to cut a frequency really helps these people.
And for you non-audio people out there, generally you should never use an equalizer for boosting, just cutting. If your source is decent it will be pretty uniform. The problem is always the room or Tinnitus. You can test your room by using a real time analyzer (software based) and a half decent mic that picks up sounds at a reasonable distance from it. Many people are in rooms without carpet today and this causes lots of acoustic problems that carpets helped when they were more common. But the good news is you can make sound absorbing materials/tool that work surprisingly well. For instance layered towels do very well at absorbing standing waves. The challenge is making up frames for them to be stapled to.
