[SOLVED] Working touch-screen as secondary monitors on Windows 11

I have recently a second touch-screen monitor to use with my PC. It works perfectly except for the fact that touch does not work if it is set up as the second display. For Windows 10 I have to use "Table PC Settings" to assign touch input to secondary monitor. On Windows 11 I cannot find any tools like this. So the touch input is always triggering primary monitor.

Hello Mr Adrian,

In the control panel, change the icons to large icons

Then you will be able to see the "Tablet PC" icon, click it.

From there you seem to be familiar with how to do set it up, but will go over the next couple steps just in case you dont.

Click "Setup"

Next, there will be a dialog box to asking if you want the app to make changes, click "yes"

Finally, all your screens should turn white with a this text in the middle of the primary screen "Tap this screen with a single finger to identify it as the touch screen. If this is not the table PC screen, Press Enter to move to the next screen".

Press Enter until you get to the monitor you want to use as a touch screen. NOTE: I am not sure if you can use more than one touch screen with Windows 11... yet.

    This is great, but it keeps reverting and every few weeks I have to repeat the activity of defining my second monitor as the one for touch. Any guidance on how to troubleshoot the cause or put in place a task to set it correctly on boot?

    I speculate that it's losing the setting on occasions that one of the monitors is unavailable although I never disconnect them, I do switch inputs on one to use as a display from a laptop (vs where I'm setting touch screen on the desktop).

    Stage, I have 3 monitors + laptop screen

    two monitors are Samsung non touch 27 inch monitors.

    One Monitor is on the bottom, it is a touch screen monitor. then the laptop monitor is a non touch.

    My issue is that the text on screen asking me to touch the display is on a non touch monitor, when I go to touch the touchscreen display it acts like it is on another monitor.. IE when i use my touch screen it is actually moving the mouse on a different display.

    To make things odd. When I hook up a different laptop this issue does not exist it works properly.

    I need help

    Is this the text you're talking about that asks you to touch the display? If it is not on the touchscreen monitor, press the Enter key to move it to the next monitor.
