    Since installing KB5005033 on Friday, the 13th of August (oh, hell, THAT'S my problem - why did I ever install anything from Microsoft on Friday the 13th???), I have periodically had a black screen appear. That's it - no blue screen of death, just a hung machine that I have to hard reboot by holding the power button down until it powers off, and then turning it on again. It's an HP Pavillion laptop x360, with 8 Gb ram:

    with Windows specs thus:

    Edition Windows 10 Pro

    Version 21H1

    Installed on ‎2020-‎09-‎15

    OS build 19043.1165

    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    For anyone thats having issues with alt tabbing to fullscreen/borderless windowed games or applications try this. Right click the taskbar --> News and interests --> Turn Off. Changing this setting disables the weather widget (it is only visible if your taskbar is on the bottom of the screen) but fixes the alt tab functionality (or at least it did for me).

    After the Windows 10 update this morning, my HDMI stopped working. I uninstalled today's update, tried the prior edition of Intel HD 5500 driver and at this point display on the screen the icons in the taskbar at the bottom of the page but nothing from the screen. I can transmit sound through the HDMI link.

    What else can I do?

    Steam games using unreal engine 4 or MT framework crash on startup and I believe it has to do with windows updates.

    I reset windows earlier and my steam games worked, restarted pc and they started crashing on startup again. Tried resetting again and they just crash. Is there anything I can do to stop these from crashing? Anyway to not have windows update when I reset it?
