An administrator has restricted sign in.To sign in make sure your device is connected to the internet and have your administrator sign in first

At least they should change the name of the remote lock button to "Initiate Self Destruct"

I ran into the same problem as you. Tried all suggestions mentioned here and a whole lot more. Calling Microsoft support was a joke.

Only thing that worked in the end was a complete factory restore to scratch, deleting all files on the computer, reinstalling Windows and setting up my laptop again all from the beginning. To do that you hold the shift button down while restarting the computer and follow the meny.

I`m seriously considering to leave Microsoft products for good because of stupidity like this.

Thanks for the reply Dave, it’s asking pin which I usually use to login to my laptop, but after entering the correct pin asking for administrator sign in. Does changing the password works ? Microsoft care person asking to boot the system with bootable per drive.. it’s quite surprising as I could not log in to my laptop.
