"This comment does not meet community guidelines" - so annoying!

Try to comment : I like math.

It is not allowed and "goes against community guidelines"

It's ridiculous in the extreme.

I tried posting, "There's a very pretty rickshaw puller in Tokyo who used to be an Olympian athlete. She was applauded in Japan for her tenacity and endurance during the pandemic."

It was blocked.

Their lack of transparency on guidelines are frustrating.

I see people people making homophobic and transphobic comments on news stories, but when trying to respond with something like "That narrative you are pushing is factually incorrect and unfairly represents and targets these people" it gets immediately blocked.

Sometimes even very innocuous comments are immediately blocked.

It feels like conversations can be one-sided and people who have thousands of comments on the platform don't get any scrutiny with regard to what they say while others who try and follow up with other comments can't do so.

I get the same issues.

I don't write anything that is offensive, racist etc. But my comments are regularly under review.

I don't use any swear words of any kind.

It doesn't make sense.

I think that MSN is being one sided.

If I speak out about the EU.

Or if I stand up for true values, it goes under scrutiny and never sees the light of day.

What I will say is that if this continues then I will have to go elsewhere to voice my opinion.

MSN are now covering up for Putin. I just had this comment removed for 'not following guidelines' on a story about Putin seeking assurances over Ukraine:

"Why should we guarantee anything to the man who has his opponents murdered and jailed?"
