The new Default App Setting is way to advance and confusing which is unecessary complex for home users. I wanted to change the default file type for Photos and Videos but I there is no jpg, png, mp4 types of file type showing when searching to change it's default app. Also I can't change the default app using explorer open with because the checkbox for always use this app is missing for both Photos and Videos. Also there is no Open with the file property too. Help Me Anyone.

    Awesome. Thank you!

Still annoying that this is what's required to change just this extension.

I can agree, but may I remind you, that I'm not a MS employee, just some random guy on the internet, who also had the issue :D
(and is now thinking very hard about buying a new macbook pro :D )

This could have been Microsoft's chance to redeem all the ugly Windows systems (8, 8.1, 10).
And it really does look good!!!

And what do the do? F*** it up with TPM 2.0 requirement and billions of software bugs.
-My "widgets" panel is in arabic. (i am not arabic, I don't understand it)
-Default apps management is too clumsy. Even when it does work the intended way.
-Multimonitor handling should be the "new big thing". yet, all the windows are messed up when returning from sleep.
-Task bar icons disappear every time I alt+tab from a fullscreen game, and they take about 5-8 seconds te reappear. (like restartint explorer.exe)
-all these abovementiones issues were well known in the beta version. This topic is also not new.
-And I really-really have to mention TPM 2.0 requirements again... very few people will buy a new system for this.
Some(like me) may use a hacked installer. But for others.... very-very-very stupid decision!!!!
They only should have limited company security-related stuff to this...
Or the "Pro" version worst case scenario(not the home)
Still stupid... They kick themselves in the balls with this.
Computers will get old eventually. People will buy new ones eventually. TPM will be default eventually. Why force?

So I have a hard time liking Windows 11, even though I kinda like it...
