The win update changed this Realtek console too. I can not enhance the volume from it anymore. It died like DTS UltraX did.
DTS:X Ultra Not working
Hello Everyone,
I have Asus TUF F15, and my DTS:X Ultra keeps showing :
"Please connect external speakers to use DTS audio controls.
Please connect a Headphone to use DTS audio controls"
I have tried mostly method available online but noting seems to be working for me, So finally I reinstalled the windows and DTS:X started working but after a day same thing started happening again. I have latest Windows 10 Home and Latest Drivers. Rolling back driver doesn't work too.
If any one have solution then please share.
Thank you

2021-07-10T19:31:38+00:00 I have tried but nothing until now. I also have installed the windows 20H2 and nothing. for now the only soultion for me has been to disable the "AMD audio coprocessor" from device manager. I don't even have to restart my laptop, when I disable this, the DTS gets activated instantly.

2021-05-01T12:34:10+00:00 That's awesome! I'm gonna do it right now.
What version of windows you upgraded to?
And does it comes with DTS:X Ultra app pre-installed?

2021-05-01T11:26:49+00:00 Finally, I have found a temporary solution. The thing is Instead of using DTS:X Ultra you can use "Realtek Dolby Digital Live Onboard Soundcard Mod" It works pretty much the same the sounds are loud and clear like before.
I found this thread on YouTube after scouring a lot of videos and after some trial and error, this works great.

Note: Before proceeding with this step "please set a system restore point" So, you can roll back if anything goes wrong.

2021-05-04T16:26:11+00:00 Don't install this update if you using or want to install DTS:X Ultra on your laptop.
I found this issue on my Asus F15 (FX506LI) laptop, and solve the problem by ignoring this update. And install component driver first, then install DTS:X Ultra application from MS-Store.
If this optional quality features installed, uninstall it. and restart you machine. then try ..
