From the Blog:
In the current environment, we know that you continue to rely on your PCs more than ever. As a result, we are initially taking a measured seeker-based approach to the rollout of the May 2021 Update. We are throttling availability up over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience for all, so the update may not be offered to you right away. Additionally, some devices might have a compatibility issue for which a safeguard hold is in place. In these cases, we will not offer the update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience.

2021-05-30T05:32:03+00:00 Hello I found a bug with the 21H1 already. The “Choose a Power Plan” option with default to balanced after a shutting down and turning PC back on ore restarting windows. I normally use Ultimate Performance. However after updating. To 21H1. The power plan defaults back to balanced for my wife and for me it defaults back to AMD Ryzen Balanced mode. Please patch in a fix on at Tuesday update.

2021-05-29T20:27:00+00:00 I like many others have had issues with DVD/CD Rom drive not showing up in file explorer using windows 10. Tried all the "recommended fixes" and still no luck. This may or may not solve others issues, but worked for me. Simply unchecked the auto play setting. Won't show up in explorer until a disk is inserted (like it should) but has worked flawlessly ever since unchecked the feature. Hope it helps.

2021-05-29T20:02:02+00:00 ok that was way confusing, I already got the official, stable update, why on earth would they offer a preview (beta?) of the stable update I just got
21H1 was a feature update (new Windows version). As Sumit said, a preview is an early version of the next quality update (new OS Build). It contains only the non-security elements. Going by the article, you can skip the previews & just wait for the quality update proper. I've been taking them. I may now begin to skip them myself now that I've read that article. They are really meant for IT professionals who have to deploy these updates to multiple computers & want a head start.
