[Windows update installing the new Edge browser] Update KB4559309 Makes Computer Unbearably Slow

Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

Hey there, everyone

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10. 

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub. 

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

    Was this from a failed Windows Update, or from something else? Do yo uknow what was running when this error came up?

    Basically 0x80070424 means "Service does not exist" - so some service that is needed for whatever created that error is not running.

    Try  rebooting, and see if it goes away or is reproducible.

    I can also say that a lot of IT groups are currently struggling with windows 10 just because of an incorrect Hypervisor platform feature along with virtual machine platform.

    Which I will admit was jacked from Piriform for Linux.

    It has a tenacious habit of messing with the virtual printing and document services. The add on for virtual printer.
