Just want to say that I have the same problem. Hope this will be solved soon.
Mouso core worker process
My computer (Windows 10, 64-bit Build 19041) is constantly waking up from sleep and then going back to sleep for a short time only to repeat the cycle. I ran sleep diagnostics on the Windows PowerShell as administrator i.e. powercfg /systemsleepdiagnostics. The report from yesterday (5/31/2020) indicates that my computer awoke from sleep 50-55 times during the course of the day until at about 8:00 p.m., I decided that it was better to fully shut down the computer rather than have these continued cycles. The common thread in all these awakenings from sleep is MoUSO Core Worker Process (MoUsoCoreWorker.exe).

This executable is a Microsoft programming element.
Why is this happening and what can I do to eliminate this totally annoying phenomena?

2021-02-19T20:59:36+00:00 Interesting that its back and preventing sleep at this point in the month. Usually there is about 2 weeks when things work fine since the process isn't rearing its ugly head.
Feel free to go back and find my posts but I'd be wary of messing with WU to temporarily fix this issue. I had to do a repair install after WU failed from me doing the simple fixes mentioned. I'll just manually put my computers to sleep until it resolves itself by installing the updates.

2021-02-19T19:37:39+00:00 Thank you UtopiaOpera1, I tried your fix that also does not solve my problem. At this point, I have zero patience left for this type of time draining troubleshoot. For anyone interested in a manual solution, I simply set my Power button to trigger Sleep mode and hopefully remember to turn it on whenever I m away from the PC.
The setting is available from Additional Power Setting. Click on Choose What the Power Buttons Do, to bring up a list of options (Do Nothing, Sleep, Hibernate, Shut Down). I chose to put it to Sleep and that works for me.
I believe Hibernate option works similarly but is designed for laptop closing and opening the lid.

2021-02-19T15:25:45+00:00 As previous users have noted, the culprit is usually Windows Update. CMD "powercfg -requests" shows this to be the only issue:
EXECUTION:
[PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\MoUsoCoreWorker.exe
USO Worker
Before fixing it, Windows Update show no updates in the queue, but restarting the Update service then shows there is an update ready to download. Today it was the Adobe Flash removal tool, but previously there were other Quality updates stuck in the pipeline.
A constant issue since "Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2".
Microsoft...PLEASE FIX!
