My computer (Windows 10, 64-bit Build 19041) is constantly waking up from sleep and then going back to sleep for a short time only to repeat the cycle. I ran sleep diagnostics on the Windows PowerShell as administrator i.e. powercfg /systemsleepdiagnostics. The report from yesterday (5/31/2020) indicates that my computer awoke from sleep 50-55 times during the course of the day until at about 8:00 p.m., I decided that it was better to fully shut down the computer rather than have these continued cycles. The common thread in all these awakenings from sleep is MoUSO Core Worker Process (MoUsoCoreWorker.exe).

Why is this happening and what can I do to eliminate this totally annoying phenomena?

Just to mention i got this solved with help from this thread months ago, don't even remember what i did to solve it but my main pc has been going in sleep mode fine since then.
Updated to 20H2 in the meantime and still goes into sleepmode fine.
If there's anything i can check for you guys that still have this issue, let me know.

Stopping and restarting the Windows Update Service is only a temporary solution. MoUSO Core Worker keeps reappearing in the Powercfg requests. Microsoft seems to be aware of the problem so maybe there's an inherent problem that can't be fixed. If that's the case then sleep mode should be removed from the power settings because it's misleading.
As you say that is only a temporary fix. Next time the computer is awake the process comes back preventing sleep.
And like I posted stopping and starting WU messed mine up to the point it doesn't work. I think its time to stop suggesting that "fix".

And it potentially will screw up WU to the point it doesn't function. Thats what happened to me and I can only attribute it to this issue and the fact I messed around with WU, stopping and starting etc. I've tried EVERY solution to get WU working properly and nothing works.
Now I need to do a repair install and I don't even know if that will fix it. All because the computer wouldn't sleep due to MS's incompetence.
