Cortana can't control music.

I am using the latest version of Windows which is Windows 10 2004.

Cortana is updated to the latest version

When i give command to cortana "Play any song"

Cortana replies "Sorry, I can't control your music here."

Please anyone help me with this.

    it let's me to turn on spotify but if i ask cortana to play music she tells me the same thing.

    I used to subscribe to music services like Tidal, but then I found that my Cortana didn't work well when I asked her to play songs from Tidal. So I tried to rip some songs to FLAC with Audacityand Tidal Converter, then added them to WMP. Cortana had no problem with playing these local music files.

    Cortana in Windows 10 in 20H1 and newer will no longer have consumer facing functions.

    In response to the "Cortana is now an Enterprise Tool" argument, it can't check my enterprise Outlook emails or calendar, do anything with my enterprise Microsoft Teams account, or even open Office365 programs. ("Open/Start/Run/Launch Word/Microsoft Word")

    These are the features listed on the "What is Cortana" Page

    Here are some things Cortana can do for you:

    • Manage your calendar and keep your schedule up to date
    • Join a meeting in Microsoft Teams or find out who your next meeting is with
    • Create and manage lists
    • Set reminders and alarms
    • Find facts, definitions, and info
    • Open apps on your computer

    Trying to perform any of these actions gets the "I don't know how to do that" error.

    In regards to using "Hey Cortana", the two articles from JosephT71 have this.

    When I try to enable voice activation, I get this, despite my build being way above .329

    Don't have any updates pending for my computer.
