Cortana can't control music.

I am using the latest version of Windows which is Windows 10 2004.

Cortana is updated to the latest version

When i give command to cortana "Play any song"

Cortana replies "Sorry, I can't control your music here."

Please anyone help me with this.

    Seems they have stripped this feature..

    Highly disappointed Microsoft.. This feature is useless for me now as the main things I used it for was music. Def took some steps backwards on this it seems.

    Please fix this! I root for you rather than Mac or Ios system based products but these types of moves are upsetting..

    I'm asking this here because I couldn't ask this question on it's own, for some reason:

    I have a similar problem with Cortana and music. When I looked it up, most pages recommended enabling a music provider in Cortana's Notebook tab. When I tried to do that, Cortana didn't actually have a Notebook tab. I even clicked on a direct link to Cortana's Notebook tab, from a forum where a similar problem was experienced, and the page it brought me to was completely blank. They also suggested to enable "Cortana can give you ideas, suggestions, reminders, and alerts", but that option didn't appear either.

    Please help.

    Guys i think the best option is to send feedback to Microsoft via Feedback hub and get many votes about all Cortana features we want.
