You may want to read this entire thread if you are running Windows 10 2004. You also may want to read the thread about using Rufus to create your 1909 bootable flash drive since the only "fix" is a clean install of Windows 10 1909.

Most likely anyone seeing this issue will say that a clean install of Windows 10 1909 is a total inconvenience.

    Hi Prakhar,

I am having the same error. I was playing a game and suddenly my screen froze and then it just went to sleep. While system seems to be working fine. I had to restart the system. First I thought it had something to do with the game but now it is happening even when I am just at my home screen and not doing anything. it is now happening more often and I could not find any solution for this. Please help me with this issue.

This issue presents itself once a user has configured their account as an MS account on a clean install of 19041/19042.

It does not occur for upgrade installs where the account was linked at the time of original win10 installation.

Good info about Rufus. I save each media creation tool with the os version in the file name.

Google 1909 media creation tool. You can create the flash drive or save as an ISO for burning a DVD.
