Ran into same issue yesterday and have now clean installed 1909. Have not updated to latest NVIDIA drivers.

    My specs:

    Asus Sabertooth 990FX V1

    16 GB RAM

    AMD 8150

    NVIDIA GTX 1080

Now Windows 10 1909; saw issue on Windows 10 2004 latest update w/ latest NV drivers as of this writing.

I work for NVIDIA and would like to see other's issues. Possibly I can assist with driving fixes from NVIDIA; however, the common denominator may be Windows 10 2004 latest updates.

Don't understand folks seeing the AppModel runtime errors on 1909, but I am watching event viewer's reports closely.

My symptoms included observing frame stutters in F.E.A.R. (yeah, old game) that I have not observed before. Then the game froze and I was greeted with the BIOS POST again. Fatal error for the GPU... not sure if this is related to something MS created that corrupts PCIe data, which would possibly hose the GPU completely.

Still no help from MS.  At least, a "we're aware of the issue and working on a fix" would be nice, but apparently that's too much to ask.

nVidia released a hotfix driver for their cards this morning.  Unfortunately, it did not resolve this issue for me, but maybe it will help someone else:

    Hi Alexgarcia,

True, I noticed my Prepar3Dv4.5 CTD after Windows update on 03rd July 2020 and after updating Nvidia Drivers to version 451.67 on 9th July 2020 from 451.48.  So not sure about what was happening the cause to CTD of my flight simulator. First I rolled back Nvidia drivers to June version 451.48 since I had not problems in June with Nvidia Drivers and with Windows. Now my flight simulator is working for long hours with no crashes, hence I did not uninstall any July updates of Windows. Though in the Event Viewer Administrative Events, Errors are keep appearing
