SMB sharing not working after windows 10 update Build 2004 update

Win10 20H2 fixes the issue.

Previously when 2004 broke smb1, I rolled back.

There was no registry change or any other modification made to the system.  After Win10 20H2 upgrade was installed via Windows Updates;  SMB1 worked as it did before the upgrade.

    Nothing helps at all! We still need this issue to be resolved! Microsoft please fix this problem with mapping SMB network drives immediatelly!

    If you are using Guest account on your NAS, I think you need to change the following key and restart your PC/laptop to get it fixed.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters]

    "AllowInsecureGuestAuth"=dword:1

    Believe this is for access in the other direction, i..e. allowing anonymous access to Windows shares, not shares on a NAS.

    I've tried this method, but it didn't work for SMB1.

    This method only worked with SMB2.

    We are still waiting for a Microsoft FIX to definitively solve the problem with SMB1 that was caused after the 2004 update of windows 10.

    Just reporting same issue here, and haven't found a workaround. Build 2004 has broken SMB1 share access to Server 2003 shares.
