Updating to Windows 10 Version 2004/Conexant Drivers

So what do people with computers with Conexant drivers do? Windows Update says update drivers but there are none acceptable, it also says Microsoft is working on a fix ? So what do we do? If there are compatible drivers for devices using Conexant Audio where are they, how do we get them and install or replace them (I have tried everything to no avail). When does MS expect a fix ? Are persons with Conexant audio drivers computers at end of life ? Does anybody care ?

    Thanks so much for you reply.  I just have one request for clarification.  You said you removed the driver (uninstalled the device/delete driver) but followed with "and with the driver installed".  Did you mean "uninstalled"?

    As i have understood from his comment:

    He said he tried to block the Conexant driver auto installation by windows update through registry blocking method by adding some registry value. 

    But that didnt worked (meaning the drivers got installed eventually despite blocking through windows registry) 

    Then he removed the registry key that he added to block the auto install of the drivers. Then let the drivers got installed by windows update. And then with the drivers installed upgraded to version 2004, and it seem to work for him without any issue so far.

    I had tried the blocking methods suggested on here to stop Windows automatically reinstalling the Conexant driver but they didn.t work.

    So i removed them and, with the driver installed, I upgraded to 2004 . It is now working perfectly with the driver installed.
