Crackling audio after update to 2004

After updating Win10 to 2004, I get crackling audio when I use Razer Surround Pro software. When I switch my audio output, I get normal audio. This only happens when I use Surround Pro.

Edit: Still talking with razer support but I ultimately believe this is an issue with the 2004 update. I hope there's a fix for this soon, although I don't mind still using 1909.

Edit: this is the reply from Razer I got today:

Good day!

We receive an update from our appropriate department that our Audio team is checking on the path forward. Should there be a fix, it will come in the form of a software update. Please check the synapse update from time to time.

Thanks.

Edit: I don't understand why, but having bluestacks running in the background fixes the issue.

As i've said, the drivers etc are still in the same version... (That's what the log file says)

And to quote myself: "What I can imagine now is that they didn't have to update any drivers etc, but change the way in which they install and use them."

I've restarted my system 4 times since it was installed, and it still works. (With Sony TV via Nvidia and with a Realtek sound card with bt aptx-ll headset - With razer surround as the main device, of course - tested with games, videos and winamp.)

Did you also make sure to use the file with the latest date? As said, it's possible that you have older files with the same name in the folder. (1), (2), etc etc

    Windows Version 2004

    Windows Build 19041.508

    WFEP 120.2212.31.0

BIOS and other things are up-to-date.

But well... It has a reason why it's not already rolled out. Probably because it doesn't work for everyone yet and they are still working on it.  Just a thought ...

The file has fixed it for me but isn't yet rolled out. That was all I originally wanted to say.

If it still doesn't work and you don't want to wait, talk kindly with the support about your problem.

There are actually people who treat emails and messages with a bit of privacy. Especially when it comes to accessing files.

But well, I can already see that in 5 minutes I will be a liar, since you are the second person in a few minutes....

Another possibility would have been to write to support and ask about it (you heard about a working update), or to wait a few days for the rollout.

So, that's the link which i've recieved 1 day ago via email:

    http://rzr.to/hQdvE

RazerSurroundInstaller2.0.29.20.exe - Don't be surprised if you find older files with the same name in your dl folder... Had 3 of them with the exact same name.

I didn't uninstall anything before, just closed the app and started the installer, which ended almost immediately with the message that everything was updated. The day before I had tested it again with the old version - Got crackling sound. Now it's clean and works again.

And yeah, we are talking about the Razer Surround Pro app, what's a part of Razer Synapse.

Message to the mod: If external links to exe files aren't allowed, please be so kindly and delete the link without a warning/report. Would be a shame for this old user account.
