Crackling audio after update to 2004

After updating Win10 to 2004, I get crackling audio when I use Razer Surround Pro software. When I switch my audio output, I get normal audio. This only happens when I use Surround Pro.

Edit: Still talking with razer support but I ultimately believe this is an issue with the 2004 update. I hope there's a fix for this soon, although I don't mind still using 1909.

Edit: this is the reply from Razer I got today:

Good day!

We receive an update from our appropriate department that our Audio team is checking on the path forward. Should there be a fix, it will come in the form of a software update. Please check the synapse update from time to time.

Edit: I don't understand why, but having bluestacks running in the background fixes the issue.

    I'm having this exact issue, unfortunately.

    I just got a pair of new Razer Kraken headphones. Unfortunately, the sound isn't quite to my liking so I'd love to use an equalizer to tweak parameters. Razer's Synapse 3 doesn't seem to support the 2019 Kraken. 

    So I've installed EqualizerAPO, which doesn't work with my default Realtech drivers but does with the old Razer Surround.

    However, Razer surround has the crackling issue. Keeping Bluestacks open fixes it, but Bluestacks causes interminent internet lag for some dumb reason.

    Lastly, Razer's newer 7.1 Surround drivers refuses to work altogether with EqualizerAPO. 

    This is frustrating as all hell.

    Naah. Don't expect any fix coming from Razer nor Microsoft. Razer said that Surround Pro is their Legacy software and they no longer supports the app which means it's already in the Finals phase and Microsoft told me that since Razer Surround Pro doesn't have any support from Razer devs, it's probably not compatible with the latest 2004 and 20H2.

    Yup... I've seen that on Reddit and I have been doing that for a while now, but it's kinda bit annoying that there's a background app running that you really don't want to use.

    Right...

    But some people seem to only pay attention to the sound and not where it comes from. Thus they falsely report that it is working again for them. IT noobs or simple trolls.
