how to fix Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed - 0xc19001e1

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed to install all the way.  I have tried twice to get this update and both times it did not complete all the way / only 86% then failed.  When I check for updates again I get:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004

the next version of Windows is available with new features and security improvements.  When you're ready for update, select "Download and install"

Can someone help me with this update problem?

    My laptop has been working on updates 0% for more than 10 hours, all evening and night. That cannot be normal!

    So what do I do? Shut down? I need to get back to work shortly. 

    I am upgrading to Features Update version 2004.

    If the Windows 10 Version 2004 won't completely install or do the restart sequence, run the windows update trouble shooter in the settings , windows update menu. It worked for me and completely finished the install. Do a manual restart after the trouble shooter is finished.

    my computer just repetitively installs this update, then starts over, then over, then over. restarting did nothing. also having applications read Failed to Lunch JVM. just bought this computer, probably going to return if its not working properly in the next 24 hours.
