how to fix Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed - 0xc19001e1

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 failed to install all the way.  I have tried twice to get this update and both times it did not complete all the way / only 86% then failed.  When I check for updates again I get:

Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004

the next version of Windows is available with new features and security improvements.  When you're ready for update, select "Download and install"

Can someone help me with this update problem?

    I've tried a bunch of these fixes.  None worked.  The error code I receive is: 0x8024a205.

    PLEASE HELP can't update "Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 -Error 0xc19001e1" and because of that I can't use any VPN for my job!!!

    Mine doesn't fail with 19001e1 . It gets to about 99% of installing the update, then flashes a message of , attempting to recover, then undoing the changes to your computer.  Error code 0x8007042b. This is on a HP Stream 14-cbxxxxx  a 32gb pc with a 1TB external hard drive set up as storage pool, and a 128gb SD card.
