Just received the update around 2:30 A.M. 6/11/2020. Whatever one that was. Now my printer will not work. My printer is Brother HL-2140. It is not wireless. Everything functions just like normal up to the point where I hit the print tab and then........NOTHING! Why do these things always happen after a Windows Update. Maybe not as drastic as this but usually there is always something changed and it requires a change in procedure, or a new learning curve. Several months back, the following morning, immediately after an update, my printing screen was completely reversed. After months of using the same printer on the same laptop, my print screen where you change parameters was completely switched. What was on the left was on the right and vice versa. This morning I have done searches trying to correct the problem to no avail. This Windows 10 has been a PITA since day one when it comes to updates. Isn't there a place where I can do a online chat to try and resolve these issues everytime, other than switching to a different OS? I have had many people tell me to switch to a MAC or Linus where these issues are nonexistent. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I did exactly what you did, could only get back with System Restore though as I could not uninstall the update KB4557957, it went about 30% and then reported an error.

FYI: After this update documents in my printing queue appeared for a second then disappeared. Uninstalling this update immediately (!) fixed the problem. (of course first I tried reinstalling drivers etc etc all the usual tech troubleshooting bs that never works... :))

I recently acquired a new laptop (8th of June) when windows updates automatically, my laptop loses its connection to my Graphics card (Nvidia RTX 2070) I reset the computer the first time, thinking it could have been something I had downloaded, but yesterday (10th) I didn t download anything and the only change I allowed on the laptop was the automatic updates made by windows. I would like to know why does windows 10 keeps doing this and how to solve it. I don t intend to reset my laptop to the previous day every time there is a mistake by Windows.
