Others' (https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/192l9kj/cumulative_updates_january_9th_2024/kh32u6f/) and my updated 64-bit W10 Pro. PCs, I'm getting "Status: Download error - 0x80070643" with "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" in 64-bit W10 Pro. right now. I already rebooted once from other today's updates:

Couldn't MS do this to its users automatically without having to do it manually for non-technical users? :/

    If the auto update runs, I get no errors. If I run the update manually through settings, I still see the same error.

    Yeah I got an update today but it's still not fixed that one still it's still broken I'm hoping this get fixed in the future. 

    There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x80070643)

    Mine updated automatically today. However, when I run a manual update I still get the install error message. Sure would like to see this issue go away!!

    Don't remove or hide --- it is a stupid advice.

    Microsoft knows that:

    (1) there is a problem

    (2) is working for a fix

    (3) doesn't tell you to remove/hide/pause anything.

    I have the same problem as the other ~400 users; this update refuses to install, regardless of all the other "expert" advice. Microsoft quality control for update releases is horrible - I am so very tired of this ****. Perhaps it is time to simply move to Linux.
