So Recently, I have discovered that my camera suddenly stopped working, I tried as ALL solutions that I could find (Reinstalling the camera app, updating drivers) but it still doesn't fix, I also installed updates to my drivers and I think this is what is causing all of this. Is there any solution Possible? If so, Please Tell me.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the update.

Please confirm if you already installed the Camera driver with the same version installed via Windows Update.

Please reset the Camera app via App Settings again:

    > Press the Windows + I key to open Settings.

    > Click on the "Apps" tab.

    > Click on "Installed apps."

    > Scroll through the app list or use the search bar to locate the Camera app.

    > Click the three-dots menu (...) next to Camera app and select "Advanced options."

    > Scroll down to the Reset section, and click on "Reset" (confirm the action if prompted).

    > Restart your PC and test.

If issue persists please go back to same settings and click "Uninstall". After that please visit Microsoft Store and Install the "Windows Camera" again.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions or concerns.

    John J.D.

I don't have any third party antivirus software installed....I now think its an issue with the camera app since the device status says that the webcam is working properly....

Hi Andrew, thanks for letting me know and providing the screenshot.

Let's focus on updating the driver. First off, in Windows 11, Microsoft provides the drivers for the integrated webcam in Dell laptops. Windows Update installs any new drivers when available. Dell does not have any Windows 11 webcam drivers to provide you.

Please go to Settings (Win + I key) > Windows Update > Update History > expand "Driver Updates." While there, look for Camera driver updates and note the version.

After that, please open Device Manager and manually search for drivers.

    > Right-click the Start and select "Device Manager."

    > Expand Cameras. Right-click the Integrated Webcam and select "Update driver."

    > Click "Browse my computer for drivers."

    > Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."

    > Select the driver with a similar version installed via Windows Update. Click "Next" to install and click "Close."

If the issue persists after manually updating the Camera driver, please run the Camera troubleshooter again using the Get Help app, steps are in last response to you earlier.

If the issue still persists, do you have any third-party antivirus software installed? If so, please check if the settings are blocking camera access.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions or concerns.

    John J.D.
