File explorer not responding in Windows 11. It opens up but becomes unresponsive when you click anywhere.

I have a problem on file explorer..it opens alright but files do not open ..the wheel simply spins...some times opens often times no

i have the same problem, did u find any solutions? When i use the file explorer, either instantly or after a couple of minutes it just freezes and doesnt load in, theres a spinning wheel at the top left showing that its loading, and it takes several minutes. I am going insane because of this issue and microsoft clearly doesnt give a **** **** considering they dont have any solution

Interesting suggestion. But how do I get there if in order to use Windows+R shell: command you required to use Explorer to Browse for the folder and be able to Delete them?

I think you should add a more detail way to accomplish this.

try following, worked for me :

Windows Settings/Time & Language/Language & Region/ and add a preferred language "English (United states)" and tick the box 'Set as my Windows display language'

I also am having this problem. I have done all the suggestions on your post. I have also reinstalled windows 11. Nothing has worked. I desperately need to get this fixed. Can anyone please help?

These steps and the video was perfect. I did exactly as they said and now my explorer is working again.

I tried the steps suggested by the DYARIBARHAM but they did not work for me.
